33 Weeks | Our Little Celery | Baby Boy T#2

33 weeks
How far along: 33 weeks
How big is baby? Celery
Symptoms: Sciatica pain, tailbone pain, weird pain after sitting in the recliner or laying down a certain way (he gets on a nerve and makes it near impossible to walk), TERRIBLE allergies, acid reflux, shortness of breath during braxton hicks, some high blood pressure readings, swollen hands, feet & ankles
Maternity clothes: yes, finally got to break into some of my long sleeve clothes. Really wish I had maternity pj pants but figure it’s not worth the $ at this point.
Sleep: A-W-F-U-L. Up every few hours coughing, blowing my nose, just miserable feeling. I can deal with the frequent wake ups to pee but waking up feeling horrible makes it hard to go back to sleep. I have actually been dreading bedtime this week which is NOT like me.
Miss anything: Being able to bend over to pick stuff up while sitting down
Movement: Yes, lots
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: Yeep
Labor signs: Lots of braxton hicks
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: Nope. The thought of putting rings on my swollen fingers makes me cringe
Mood? Day good - night bad
Looking forward to: Our maternity/family pictures this weekend! Hoping E behaves better than last year but now he’s a threenager so who knows!
Best moment of this week: Playing in the SNOW with Eli! At first he was in denial about the snow - arguing with us that it wasn’t snow haha. But after dinner he decided he was ready to get his hat & coat on...and asked to wear flip flops but settled for his “fire boots.” He loved it and wanted to stay out longer but turns out mama’s letter jacket does NOT accommodate this belly and I was freeeezing! The only other time he’s seen snow was at 6 months old in Connecticut so he obviously doesn’t remember that. Also, we decided to start Elf on the shelf last week (I could do a whole post on that) but seeing him excited every morning to find Casper (he named him) is so SO fun! Love seeing his face light up & wondering HOW he got there :)

**Had an appt at 32w5d with a sono to check on baby. Everything looks great with baby! He was measuring 28th percentile (not sure how accurate that is because I can’t imagine having a small baby), he scored an 8 out of 8 & the amniotic fluid looked great. Yay! My blood pressure has been high on my home monitor (and even on the monitor at work) but it was okay it the office. They did blood work and she wants to see me weekly to keep an eye on it.

32 Weeks | Our Little Squash | Baby Boy T #2

32 weeks
Another weekly picture missed...oopsies!

How far along: 32 weeks How big is baby? Squash Symptoms: Pelvic/tailbone pain (he must have been sitting on a nerve or something the other night because when I got up I could barely walk and was in SO much pain - guess he was mad that I went to OTF AND walked a lot that evening...oops), acid reflux - still going strong, especially when rowing at OTF or doing exercises that I’m not upright for. Swollen hands & feet Maternity clothes: Yup yup yup Sleep: Still okay but wake up with hands/arms asleep which is suuuper annoying for some reason Miss anything: Being able to make it through a 1 hour workout without having to stop to pee twice Movement: Yes, lots. But he can still tell when anyone besides me tries to feel it and usually stops. Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really - just acid reflux makes things unappetizing Have you started to show yet: No...jk :) Labor signs: Just lots of braxton hicks Belly button in or out: In (barely exists) Wedding rings on or off: Off Mood? Happy Looking forward to: Eli has a big sibling class this weekend so that should be fun...or at least interesting! Also doing a make it sweet class with my mom this weekend...last one before baby gets here! Best moment of this week: My amazing Disney baby “sprinkle” thrown by my friend Ashley! Baby T#2 is already so loved by friends & family & we are SO thankful for that!!

31 Weeks | Our Little Asparagus | Baby Boy T#2

31 weeks
How far along: 31 weeks
How big is baby? Asparagus
Symptoms: tailbone/sciatica pain, round ligament pain, acid reflux, swollen hands & feet
Maternity clothes: Can it just get cold so I can wear something DIFFERENT??
Sleep: Meh, up at least once to pee (most of the time more), barely slept Thanksgiving eve due to some TMI discomfort, suuuper vivid dreams
Miss anything: Nothing new this week
Movement: Yes! He seems to move side to side and is SO LOW feeling. Weird almost jabbing feelings on the inside - hard to describe. I also think he’s gotten hiccups a few times but it’s so low whereas when Eli would get them I would feel them at the top of my belly.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Rowing at OTF enhances my acid reflux
Have you started to show yet: Yeeep
Labor signs: Braxton hicks
Belly button in or out: In - it’s so shallow - I don’t think mine could ever even become an outie ha
Wedding rings on or off: Off
Mood? Good!
Looking forward to: My sprinkle!! And some Christmas festivities :)
Best moment of this week: Thanksgiving break was so much fun! Had a great day on Thanksgiving and lots of yummy food. Had a nice couple of days decorating for Christmas, running errands, and trying to watch Christmas movies that ended up in Despicable Me every time.

30 Weeks | Our Little Zucchini | Baby Boy T#2

30 weeks
How far along: 30 weeks
How big is baby? Zucchini
Symptoms: Sciatica pain, acid reflux, round ligament pain
Maternity clothes: yeah and getting sick of wearing the same stuff over and over again. I’m ready for it to get cold for a bit so I can wear some of my long sleeve stuff!
Sleep: Meh. Waking up multiple times to pee or turn over. Going back to sleep is easy as long as it’s before 4am.
Miss anything: Being able to do normal activities without it kicking my butt. I hate having to sit down so frequently.
Movement: Yes, lots.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Have you started to show yet: Yuuup
Labor signs: No - just braxton hicks
Belly button in or out: In but it’s getting pretty darn shallow
Wedding rings on or off: Off for the most part. Wearing my 3 wedding bands is too much so some days I just wear 1 but most of the time none (more out of laziness than anything)
Mood? Good for the most part...just a LONG week
Looking forward to: Our 3D ultrasound and Thanksgiving & having the family all together!
Best moment of this week: Eli was sick from Saturday night until Wednesday so it was so good to see him feeling better & ready to go back to school on Thursday. Poor guy was asking to go to the park while he had a 103 fever & just couldn’t understand why we were saying no. I did get in my fair share of rare cuddles so I soaked those up while I could. But croup can suck it! Also - we FINALLY got the nursery almost completely put together - woohoo!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: HAHA
Labor signs: No - just braxton hicks
Belly button in or out: In but it’s getting pretty darn shallow
Wedding rings on or off: Wedding rings on...Aggie ring off
Mood? Happy to be home with my Eli!
Looking forward to: Eli’s preschool Thanksgiving & hopefully getting some decorations hung up in the nursery - pretty sure we were like 100% done with E’s nursery at like 20 weeks...oops!
Best moment of this week: We had such a fun trip to College Station to meet baby Lincoln! Eli wasn’t super interested in him unless Justin or I were holding him but the little he did pay attention, he was SO SWEET!! I can’t wait to see him with his baby brother.

28 week ultrasound stats: HBP 166. Measuring in the 46th percentile. My amniotic fluid was on the low side of normal so they are doing another ultrasound at my next appointment. I had to fast prior to my ultrasound (including water) due to my glucose test (which I passed, hooray!!) so I’m wondering if that’s why my fluid was showing lower because I hadn’t had that issue before. Fingers crossed everything looks good next time! Until then, you can find me chugging water at all times (or in the bathroom...)!

Symptoms: Pelvic/tailbone/sciatica pain, round ligament pain, acid reflux (starting much earlier than it did with E so maybe this one will have more hair haha)
Maternity clothes: Yes
Sleep: Sleep is okay but getting up at least once per night. While in Park City it was like 5-6 times/night because I was drinking so much water due to the altitude
Miss anything: Regular altitude ha! Thank goodness the altitude didn’t make me nauseous but it did make me winded MUCH faster than normal
Movement: Yup! Lots!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really
Have you started to show yet: Yep, got asked if I’m sure it’s not twins again *insert eye roll*
Labor signs: Braxton hicks (I think...I do not remember what they felt like last time)
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: Wedding rings on...Aggie ring off
Mood? Good, happy!
Looking forward to: Seeing baby boy on the ultrasound this week & a quick trip to College Station this weekend to meet baby Lincoln!
Best moment of this week: Halloween was SO MUCH FUN with Eli this year! He has been really into it & actually wore his batman costume to pre-school & for trick or treating...I was so surprised/happy! He was a little leary of trick or treating at first but once we ran into his giant group of friends he was leading the pack. We walked around for a bit & then came home & handed out candy with the Blasigs & Fraziers and Eli loved that too! My normally shy guy had no problem dumping candy into kids bags! The other best moment was our whole babymoon to Park City, Ut. Talk about beautiful place! We walked around the town, ate lots of good food, took naps & got 2 spa treatments. It was exactly what we both needed - pure relaxation! But I was sure happy to see my little guy when we got home!

Best moment of this week: Eli LOVED the pumpkin patch. We took him to Sweet Eats Farm in Georgetown and it was so much fun. Way shorter drive than Sweet Berry & we went first thing Sunday morning so it wasn’t crowded at all. Of course his favorite thing was the giant jump pad but he also rode a pony, let me take adorable pumpkin patch pictures, went on a hay ride (where he took 18 million pics with my camera) & went into the petting zoo...he loved the baby goats! He’s asked several times to go back haha

And no toddler meltdowns so it was definitely a WIN!

25 Weeks | Our Little Cauliflower | Baby Boy T#2

25 weeks
How far along: 25 weeks

Symptoms: Pelvic/tailbone/sciatica pain. Knee pain has been better so yay! Shortness of breath
Maternity clothes: Yes
Sleep: Sleep is the same as last week - pretty good overall -just waking up a few times to turn over or go pee.
Miss anything: Being able to tie my shoes without losing my breath
Movement: Feeling more & more movement. I’ve actually been able to see the movement if I’m really still. The movements seem soo much lower than they did with Eli.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really
Have you started to show yet: Oh yes
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: Wedding rings on...Aggie ring off
Mood? A bit of a roller coaster but ended the week on a high note!
Looking forward to: Our guest bathroom remodel! The contractor is finally available and it’s supposed to be started this week - woohoo! Hopefully a relaxing weekend too, especially after the fun-filled one we just had :)
Best moment of this week: Eli’s birthday party! My baby turned three this weekend and he had SO much fun at his birthday party! We opened presents when we got home and kiddo skipped lunch & nap because he was soo excited about playing with all of his toys! I think it’s finally starting to sink in that we are having a lot of “lasts” with Eli as our only...bittersweet!
