21 Weeks | Our Little Endive | Baby Boy T#2

21 weeks
How far along: 21 weeks
How big is baby? Endive
Symptoms: Not too many symptoms this week. Still the occasional tailbone & pelvic pain. Shortness of breath when laying down or flipping on my side.
Maternity clothes: Yes
Sleep: Sleep was much better this week being in my own bed with my pregnancy pillow - hallelujah!
Miss anything: Running on the treadmill (I can’t believe I’m actually typing this…)
Movement: Feeling it more & more. Especially when I’m at work sitting on my exercise ball or laying down. Justin has felt him a few times now too! Can’t wait until the movements are bigger & Eli can see/feel!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing - yay!
Have you started to show yet: Yep
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood? Pretty happy this week, not overly emotional
Feeling boy or girl? Boy, duh
Looking forward to: EVER Hoopla this weekend!
Best moment of this week: Getting back into our routine was nice. Eli had his first swim lesson which went really well & he had a blast at Harper’s bowling birthday party. Somehow he powered through Saturday with no nap (catch air in the am & birthday party in the afternoon) but was such a fun little guy all weekend!

20 Weeks | Our Little Banana | Baby BOY T#2 {Half way there!}

20 weeks
How far along: 19 weeks
How big is baby? Banana
Symptoms: Had no nausea at Disney (which I have been worried about for the last few weeks since that’s been a constant for me...yay! Tailbone pain was at a minimum the whole time which is crazy for the amount of walking we did. There were a few mornings it bothered me (probably from sleeping without my pregnancy pillow or with little Eli feet UNDER my back) but tylenol actually helped. Really no other symptoms this week.
Maternity clothes: Yes
Sleep: Sleep was okay this week but only due to the fact I slept with Eli almost every night and ended up with feet under my back or in my face. I was up pretty early every day (even before E some days) which was a little surprising since we were go-go-go during the day.
Miss anything: Being able to sit/lay down without tailbone pain.
Movement: Still here & there - mostly felt it while laying down at night - we were too busy during the day for me to notice.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing - yay!
Have you started to show yet: Yep
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood? How could I not be happy in the happiest place on earth?!
Feeling boy or girl? Boy this week...because we found out IT’S A BOY!
Looking forward to: Escaping hurricane Irma & getting back into our routine...and our 20 week ultrasound!
Best moment of this week: There were so many great memories made this week at DisneyWorld (I mean, did you SEE Eli’s face on Mine Train?? HAHA!!) but the absolute best was finding out Eli is getting a baby BROTHER & surprising everyone! When we walked into Magic Kingdom Tuesday I pulled Lauren aside & told her I had a mission for her & I needed her to not react. I handed her the envelope & told her I needed her to get either a pink or blue Mickey ear hat and she could either look in the envelope or have it be a surprise for her too. We stopped at one of the photographers on Main Street and after taking a few group pics I said that we wanted to do a family pic. I quickly told the photographer what we were doing and she was AMAZING! She got some great pictures (Kristin’s face was priceless in the one before she realized what was going on….she told us after that she could not figure out why on earth we were opening the bag of Lauren’s souvenirs on camera) and Lauren captured it on video. My mom was so surprised we were finding out and telling them! To say we were shocked when we opened the bag and saw BLUE would be an understatement! We debated waiting or finding out at Disney & decided it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us because this is probably our last baby and the timing just worked out perfectly so we couldn’t pass it up. I’m SO glad we found out this way & can now try and prep Eli for having a brother!!

19 Weeks | Our Little Mango | Baby T #2

19 weeks
No side belly picture this week but here's a front belly pic @ 19 weeks!
How far along: 19 weeks
How big is baby? Mango
Symptoms: Still having tailbone pain but not as extreme as the weekend. I got a magical chiropractic adjustment on Monday, a pre-natal massage on Thursday evening & another chiropractic adjustment on Friday & the pain is pretty much gone. Thank goodness because I have no idea how I would’ve survived Disney like that!
Maternity clothes: Yes
Sleep: Pretty good this week
Miss anything: Being able to sit comfortably in regular chairs at work
Movement: Still here & there - mostly feel it when I’m still/laying down! I sneezed in a meeting this week and felt a strong jab in my stomach at the same time - must’ve scared baby!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing - yay!
Have you started to show yet: Yep
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood? Pretty good...excited for our trip next week!
Feeling boy or girl? Girl?
Looking forward to: DISNEYWORLD!!
Best moment of this week: Seeing our peanut on the ultrasound. We did an elective 3D ultrasound to secretly find out the gender (in an envelope). We can’t wait to surprise everyone and open it at Disney!!

18 Weeks | Our Little Artichoke | Baby T #2

18 weeks
How far along: 18 weeks
How big is baby? Artichoke
Symptoms: Almost zero nausea this week but was pretty tired. I think that was more of starting a new job rather than a sole pregnancy symptom. But HOLY MOLY tailbone pain batman. It started Saturday morning and didn’t really start to subside until I went to the chiropractor on Monday. All I could really do was lay on my side & anytime I moved it hurt so bad. The thought of going to Disney in 1 week was terrifying. It was SO painful...I was gladly willing to trade the tailbone pain for the nausea & pelvic pain I’ve been experiencing. I read that exercise can help so I went to OTF with Justin Sunday am & could barely walk when I was done - even though I took it easy.
Maternity clothes: Yes
Sleep: Sleep was good except for the nights I had the tailbone pain. Woke up every few hours to move and it hurt to turn over.
Miss anything: Being able to sit/lay down without tailbone pain.
Movement: Still here & there - mostly feel it when I’m still/laying down!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing - yay!
Have you started to show yet: Yep
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Mood? Pretty good for the most part...so SO sad for what is going on in Southeast Texas with Hurricane Harvey destruction.
Feeling boy or girl? Boy this week
Looking forward to: DISNEYWORLD!! Our Disney trip is next week & I couldn’t be more excited!!
Best moment of this week: While it was a really tough weekend being stuck inside with all of the rain, it made me very thankful that we had no damage & for the family time we got to spend together. Don’t get me wrong, there were some times where we were going OUT of our minds because - hello two almost three year old! But overall it was kind of nice laying around the house all weekend (not that I had a choice haha).
