I feel like our house felt like home right away when we moved in...but then looking back at all the transformations we've made, I'm not sure how that's true! I wasn't loving anything about our entry way. It's pretty long and even after transforming the 2nd part a few years ago with my gallery/stenciled wall but I never knew quite what I wanted to do in the front. I started by getting a new entry table that was more our style and then continued to convert the walls from there. I absolutely love both walls and feel like it represents our home/family immediately when you walk in. We recently made the decision to not wear shoes in the house so we moved our little bench from the living room and it works out perfectly for dealing with shoes when we walk in. Slowly but surely transforming every inch of this house :)

Merry Christmas...Cards!
Our sweet friend Magan took our Christmas pictures for the 3rd year in a row back in November. She is a seriously AMAZING photographer (and friend) and I am so thankful for the great pictures she captured of our little family. I'm going to do a separate post with more of the pictures because I love them ALL but I had to narrow it down for our Christmas cards! Here are the 2 cards we sent out this year!
Merry Christmas...it's only 6 days away!
P.S. Check out Magan's website for some crazy gorgeous pictures!

iPhone Picture Dump - March
After my last photo-a-day post in February I decided to stop doing it. It was fun and I did it for a year but it was starting to be stressful to remember to take a picture everyday because there is so much going on right now! Instead of doing photo-a-day from now on I'm going to do occasional iPhone picture dumps. They will be more "relevant" pictures of what's going on in our lives!

Christmas Card 2012
We have sent out Christmas cards for the last 3 years now and it's one of my favorite things leading up to Christmas. We are super lucky that our friend (and neighbor) Magan is willing to photograph our little family - she is AMAZING. Seriously you guys - check out her work at Urban Grey and Magan's Lens and prepare to be amazed!
I had seen this idea on pinterest last year and decided I wanted to go for it. I told Justin I wanted to get Christmas lights and wrap us in it for the pictures and he looked at me like I was crazy. Once I showed him the pinterest picture he changed his tune and agreed to the idea!
First, here are some of my favorites from our session!
I had an idea of what I wanted for our Christmas card but there were too many cute ones! I liked going with the theme "Merry & Bright" because of being wrapped in lights. I ended up using 3 different websites to get the cards because I found good deals on each :)
I ordered 2 styles from Zazzle (who I used last year - LOVE them) at 50% off
I found a coupon code for 10 free cards from Card Store and they had too many cute designs so I picked these 3!
Lastly, here's the card I chose from Minted - I got my cards for 95% off because of coupons - couldn't pass this one up!!
I think I did pretty good this year - I got a total of 75 cards that I absolutely LOVE for about $35 - all from reputable websites! I would definitely recommend any of these for cards and will be checking all of them out next year for our cards!
Anybody have any recommendations on Christmas card websites??
**Note: These opinions of Zazzle, Card Store, & Minted are all my own and I was not compensated in any way for my comments!**
